The Challenge:A full building envelope and seismic remediation including the construction of an addition and a reconfiguration of interior space to lower operating costs while improving functionality.   The mechanical, electrical and refrigeration systems were upgraded with new energy and resource efficient equipment and fixtures. Elemental assisted the client with applications for energy rebate funding, helping to supplement financing of the project. Full Seismic upgrading included bracing to the steel frame and upgrades to the Pile foundation system. The arena was fully operatonal during the entire construction process which is substantially complete as of December 2011.
